About Me

As a museum director and curator of seventeen years and a high-end designer boutique owner for seven, I’ve been surrounded by art and artists in all mediums, genres and forms. I’ve loved art forever but never put a thought into trying it from the other side of the aisle.

Once I picked up my first ten tubes of acrylics that’s when the fun really began.

I felt that if I could share my life’s philosophy through my work I could help others and that’s what I set out to do. My work is a reflection of the life I strive to live and though it may seem odd to say based on mathematics. Math and art are not as dissimilar as one might think. At least not in this case. A mathematician starts with essentially nothing then adds, subtracts, multiplies to eventually reach a sum or an outcome. So it is with my art. I add. Any day I don’t add to my work is a wasted day. I subtract. I have learned to subtract what and who doesn’t work and i do that in all my pieces as well. . I multiply. the things and marks and colors i love i use many times over. The repetition of producing the art I love never gets old, it multiplies.

It is my wish that my pieces transport the viewer to a place of contemplation and appreciation of my fine art philosophy, thought process and discovery through self-expression

“The first time I picked up a paintbrush is when my adventure began. I immediately sold a very exciting business and opened a small art studio in Fort Lauderdale in the span of a few weeks and I’ve never looked back. I now create acrylic artwork because I have to. The need is greater than myself. And my focus has never been stronger. ”
